Effective use of the telephone for sales is essential in any business and the damage a badly trained member of your team can cause can be irrevocable especially if that telephone contact is you first contact. Sending our staff on a course or even going on the course yourself so you can pass that information on has to be considered to be important in any business.

Effective use of the telephone is of paramount importance within an organisation to capitalise on all potential sales opportunities and to deliver a professional image to callers.

Professional Telephone Selling Skills is aimed at supporting telesales activity but any call – incoming or outgoing can be a sales call, it is an interaction with a possible client, a possible customer; get the most from these opportunities by ensuring your team are effective in dealing with telephone sales opportunities.

This Course is designed to:

 

  • Help delegates understand how to communicate effectively using the telephone.
  • Assist delegates to recognise how to question and use language in a telesales environment
  • Give delegates an introduction to the role of selling and its importance to business success

  • Define ways that language can be used to handle difficult customers and how to progress a call towards a successful outcome.
  • Handle customer objections and recognise buying signals.

    This course offers the core skills necessary for successful telephone selling. The seminar provides a sales library of techniques to assist delegates understand the processes involved in telephone selling. The seminar consists of a mix of theory and practice designed to help participants grow in confidence and application of newly learned skills.

    The Training Course will be held within the Training Rooms at Shropshire Chamber of Commerce, Trevithick House, Stafford Park 4, Shropshire, TF3 3BA
